Just finished Term 1 with Nate (8 months) and we have thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Jess is friendly and the whole session is fairly relaxed, allowing people tend to the needs of their little ones as they go along.
I’ve been taking my son since baby yoga and found it a great place to go especially for a first time mum as it gave me somewhere to be. It’s even better now we’re in the toddler group as it gives me 45 minutes to attempt to do yoga with him (doesn’t sit still longer than 2 minutes) but also a safe space for him to just crawl around and I can just relax. Jessica the teacher is friendly and kind and extremely chilled out especially when my son does nothing to do with the lesson and instead wants to play with the bells. It’s also super cute when you get them to do the yoga poses.
We are currently on our third term of yoga with Jess, it’s my absolute favourite baby class! Each session is filled with songs (I’ve learnt so many!) and all the positions and manoeuvres are explained so well, including the benefits to baby. Jess is so friendly and makes all the mums and babies feel instantly welcome. I have become more confident handling/throwing my baby about (safely!) and use so many of the moves and songs at home too. The sessions feel so relaxed and the whole group feels included so it’s a great place to meet other mums. My baby loves all of the different sensory props used and especially the relaxing part with bubbles at the end! The themed sessions each term are amazing and Jess puts so much effort in. We both love coming to baby yoga every week, I have recommended this class to so many others and will continue to do so, thankyou for being fab!
